How we look after your information.
Last updated: July 2026
Croft & Gable Homes is a trading name of Rowan & Bennett Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (No. 15272585). This page explains, in plain English, what personal information we collect, why, and how we look after it. We've kept it short because our approach is simple: we only collect what we need to talk to you, and we never sell or pass on your details.
What we collect
If you contact us, through the enquiry form, by email, or by booking a call, we receive the details you choose to give us. Typically that's your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, and information about your land, such as its location and approximate size.
We don't use advertising trackers, analytics cookies or marketing pixels on this site.
Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you'd like to take things further, to discuss your land with you. Under UK data protection law, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you have chosen to send us.
No newsletters, no mailing lists, and no marketing follow-ups, if you get in touch and decide it's not for you, that's the end of it.
Where your information goes
- Our inbox. Enquiries are delivered to and stored in our business email account.
- Form delivery. The enquiry form is relayed to us by Web3Forms, a form delivery service, which processes your submission solely to pass it to us.
- Call bookings. If you book a call, the booking is handled by Cal.com, which processes your name, email and chosen time to arrange it.
- Hosting. This website is hosted by Cloudflare.
If a conversation about your land progresses, we may share relevant details with the professional advisers working on it, for example our planning consultants or solicitors, and only to the extent needed to do the work. We never sell your information, and we never pass it to marketers or other developers.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as our conversation with you is live. If nothing comes of it, we delete your details within 12 months of our last contact. If we enter into an agreement together, we keep the records connected with it for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Just email us and we'll sort it, no forms, no fuss. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, though we'd hope you'd give us the chance to put it right first.
